The great thing about modular homes is that they look just like traditional homes built on site but are much less expensive and often more energy efficient as well. Because of the popularity of modular log homes, it is likely you have a dealer in your area. You can visit your local modular home dealer to view sample homes and look at the various plans available. The financing for a modular home is basically the same as financing for a traditional home. You can get a mortgage loan for a certain term. Many modular home manufacturers handle their own financing or have a particular mortgage broker they recommend. You will find a variety of financing options when it comes to purchasing a modular home.
